Turned around and found it floating near where we took off from. So lucky and glad they do float. We have now installed a couple of D rings and hooks so no more blowing out. I’m an inshore guide in Florida, I own 4 of these wedges (I set one on each side of the console and two on my bow storage lockers/casting platforms but I could fit 3) and they are so dope. Allows my customers to be comfortable even in bigger seas, can set them on the floor or on the casting platform like in my photo, fits anyone from those Midwestern morbidly obese guys to little kids, no more bruised butt-checks or sore backs, can throw them onto the T-top for extra fishing room, kids are always falling asleep in them (and I have dozens of times) I’ve used them on hundreds of charters, leave them outside in the Florida sun/rain 24/7 for almost two years and finally one of them got a cut (might have been user error) it started leaking the tiny Styrofoam balls that form it’s guts but I fixed it with duct tape. 11/10 would recommend over any other seating option, I’m designing my next boat right now and almost all the seats be these wedges. Dozens of the local guide/hardcore weekend warriors are using these now.
