Logo Printing FAQ's
File Types
The best upload to our website for logos is PNG, PDF, JPG. If you do not have these file formats you can email us at mybagart@gmail.com and we will convert your logo to an acceptable file format and email it back to you. If you want your bean bags to match your boat logo, but you don't have the graphics you can ask the company who provided your boat graphics for the art file or you can take a high-quality, close-up photo of your boat logo and we will do our best to get you a quality result. Please make sure to include ANY special additions or deletions that you want on the photo. i.e., removal of home port, etc. Drop shadows, gradients and fades do not screen print very well. We will remove those effects from your art.
Color Options / Placement
Your graphics will be printed on your bean bag as a single color screen print using ink. We will print your logo onto the back rest of the chair, between 8" and 11" across depending on the bag size. We can place your graphic onto an alternative spot on your bean bag, and if you would like us to do so, please specify in your order comments.
Submitting Your Artwork
After you have placed your order under the custom shop collection and uploaded the art, you do not need to do anything further as the file has been uploaded to our site, and we will use that file to print on your product. If you wish to send us additional files please email them to mybagart@gmail.com
What Customization Options Do I Have?
We only use the screen printing process, it's the most durable and typically outlasts the life of the product. Embroidery and other embellishments don't hold up well long term and are more costly. Embroidery weakens the vinyl whereas screen printing produces a high quality result while keeping the strength of the vinyl intact.
How Long Does It Take To Add A Custom Logo?
Once we have received and approved your artwork, the screen printing can take up to 8 business days to prepare your artwork and print it. Each bean bag is manufactured by hand so when you choose custom screen printing it adds a few steps to the manufacturing process.
Where Do I Send My Art/Upload My Art?
Under the Custom Shop Collection, you have the choice of choosing the model, size, and color you would like to purchase. Within these products, there is a menu of dropdowns where you can select the logo choice. Here is where you will upload your artwork.
Will my logo come off?
We have been using the printing process for over 20 years. We have a very strict process to curing the ink after it is printed to ensure that the logo does not remove. However, there are certain scenarios that can begin the breakdown process of the ink causing it smear. Examples: Alcohol, hairspray, acetone, gasoline, sanitizer. The most common of these found on a boat is aerosol sunscreen. The first ingredient is “Alcohol” which allows it to evaporate quickly.
Will I get a proof of my artwork before it is shipped to me?
Yes, after you have uploaded the artwork to the site, you will be provided with a generic mockup. This will allow you to see the logo as a one color, sizing, and placement.
OEM Logos
OEM or boat manufacturer logos are kept on file. If you'd like to get an OEM logo printed onto your bags, you would need to select “LOGO on file” option and write in the name of the OEM. Example: Yellowfin OEM, Invincible OEM, etc
Single Color Printing
We currently offer single color printing only. A lot of logos may have multi colors in them but we reduce the image down to a one color. Please be sure to select the appropriate color option. Black Ink is the default color if not changed. We offer coordinating colors to match the bean bag color options. (certain exceptions may apply)
Placement of Logos on Products
By default we will print your logo onto the back rest of the chair, between 8" and 11" across. We can place your graphic onto an alternative spot on your bean bag, and if you would like us to do so, please specify in your order comments. Logos cannot be added at a later date If you'd like custom printing on your bean bag order, you must specify so at the time of ordering. Once your bags have been cut and sewn, we can not add custom printing to them once they have been assembled and shipped.
